I’m not one for shopping in crowds, so online shopping changed my life. I still tend to avoid Black Friday, but this year I thought if I wasn’t looking for things for myself I could get a head start on holiday shopping. ‘Tis the season!
Black tie. Semi formal. With the shift in the role of fashion in our everyday life and dress code vastly left up to interpretation, it can be confusing when your wedding invitation is stamped with the event’s two-word guideline. Wedding #1 of 5 is coming up this weekend (and I’m riding solo for this one). I’m counting down to the moment I get off the plane in San Francisco and reunite with my high school friends as we celebrate the first of us getting hitched. My dress is on the way, and my dancing shoes are packed. My friend is a professional photographer so aside from the 8 hours of sleep and the vitamins I plan to take, I’m taking my make-up game to the next level in anticipation of the photo booth and Instagram feed they’re projecting in real-time at the reception.
