9 gifts to make 2015 your best year yet
With Christmas already a couple days away, I think it’s okay to add items to your online shopping cart for yourself. After this year of transition, I realized that what I really wanted was what we all want: love and balance. Since that’s not something you can really gift, I put together some items that can support any superbly single girl in her ongoing quest to become her best self. Read on for gifts for making 2015 your best year yet. Plus don’t miss an exclusive offer for our readers to activewear line Gwenyth!

Avant-Barre Limited Edition Sweatshirt
You know I love me a cool sweatshirt. For all the single ladies in San Francisco, gift yourself (or a friend!) classes to the freshest barre studio in town. If you’re feeling really generous, pick up this limited edition black and silver sweatshirt to go with classes for the new year. Their 55-minute classes will help you feel stronger, more flexible, and more all-around awesome.
Fresh Rose Floral Toner
The older we get, the wiser we should get about skincare. Use toner after cleansing and before moisturizing to offset the sometimes harsh effects of water and promote a healthy and natural glow… the subtle rose scent is soothing and great to start or end your day. It can also be used to set your make-up, though I haven’t tried that yet.
Amy Poehler’s Yes Please
In a time when the hustle is about working hard but finding time to enjoy your life, we could all use a lesson on how not to take yourself so seriously. Poehler’s first book promises personal stories and words to live by… or at the very least least to laugh at.
Passion Planner
I swear by my Moleskin, but after I heard about this project I realized that the easiest way to stay organized in the 2015 is to pick up the Passion Planner. Annual planner, part journal, with a dash of inspiration, the Passion Planner is designed to help you set goals from daily to life-long. Keep your dreams in sight, and use this planner to take the right steps toward them.
Mophie Power Reserve
If you like to use your phones to death, you need a Mophie to get you through the next year. Busy days, working off-site, music festivals… these all call for extra battery, and the Mophie is the top choice for getting juice on the go. How does this help you become your best self? By keeping your resources at your fingertips.
Project Juice Gift Card
People go back and forth about the effectiveness of juice cleanses. The reality is, we all need to work towards a more balanced diet, so whether you pick up a cleanse or a couple juices to supplement your daily intake, the juice trend is here to stay! Juice really not your thing? Project Juice launched an awesome raw food line this year, so use your gift card toward that.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Lip Lock Moisture Balm
With all of the cult beauty brands out there, it’s hard to believe that one of my all-time favorite lip balms comes from a fashion icon, but I swear to you this is one of the best kept secrets on Sephora. Accurately described as buttery and rich, Marc Jacobs’ lip lock moisture balm will have your lips kiss-ready at midnight and throughout 2015.
Gwenyth Modern Classic
Cute activewear is a great motivator for getting to class regularly. Because Avant-Barre is my workout of choice, it’s no surprise that anything that makes me feel like a ballerina is high on my shopping list. While some activewear lines create tanks that look like leotards, Gwenyth is the only brand I’ve found so far that feels like a leotard… without having to worry about taking off your entire outfit to use the restroom.
